Tasty Linkage

Hopefully I’ll be able to do this more consistently than I have, but there have been some good links that I think are worth reading.

Chad Ford on Blake Griffin.

Unfortunately, Jarvis Varnado, someone I’d hoped the Kings would consider at 23rd overall, has pulled out of the draft. Bummer.

Sam Amick mentions that Eddie Jordan has an interview schedule in Philadelphia. Not a surprise at all.

The Kings coaching search isn’t sexy enough for Ailene Voisin. And , in other news, something else is happening somewhere else right now. If this doesn’t make you shake your head and wonder why the Bee kept her as a columnist, I really don’t know what will.

For you fans of playoff basketball, I would suggest reading these following items regarding the Orlando Magic:

Should Dwight Howard have called out Stan Van Gundy in a post game press conference?
How good is Dwight Howard in the post?
Who were the real culprits in the Magic’s defeat to Boston last night?
John Hollinger on Dwight Howard’s statements.

Last but not least, if you find the Mavericks-Nuggets series intriguing I suggest you check out Mavs Moneyball. Lots of good linkage just on this page alone, and if you check out the rest of the page itself, you will find even more.

Update: Scott Howard Cooper has a word about the Reggie Theus/Maloof family dynamic that is important to note.

Also, with a bit hat tip to Eduardo_m7 of Sactown Royalty, Henry Abbott today passed along news that Shelden Williams and his superstar WNBA wife Candace Parker had a baby girl this morning. Congratulations to them both.

2nd Update: Troy Hanson of the Full Connect Kings blog has just released a 2nd quote from Geoff Petrie regarding the interview. Thoughts later on what this means.
